Catching up – Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc.

Once again, I need to preface this post by saying “sorry for the delay, everyone!”  With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I didn’t get a chance to update my blog the past couple weeks.  So, first I’d like to say “Happy Holidays” to all my family and friends!  I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Over the holidays, I once again celebrated many “firsts” with my first Christmas and first New Year’s.  Christmas for Mommy, Daddy, Bruno, and I started at Grandpa & Grandma Heppner’s.  We drove up the weekend before Christmas and stayed until Christmas morning.  Mommy and Daddy had the Traverse packed full of luggage, gifts, and all my necessities – I guess I can confirm that I’m not a light packer – sorry, Daddy!  At Grandpa & Grandma’s we played some games, ate Grandma’s ravioli, and opened some gifts.  I also got to hang out with all my cousins.  Christmas Eve morning, we all woke up in our footie pajamas!

Christmas morning we got up early and left for Grandpa & Grandma Meissner’s.  Daddy said we needed to be on the road by 6:30am!  I took a nap on the way.  Once we got to Grandpa & Grandma’s, we had more presents to open – wohoo!  I got a lot of awesome presents (I guess I was a good boy!), including some stylish hats from my cousin Roe.

Our final Christmas was our family Christmas that we celebrated on New Year’s Eve.  Mommy, Daddy, and I went shopping during the day (we had to check out all the after Christmas sales!) and then went out to dinner that night.  Once we got back home, Mommy and Daddy helped Bruno and I open our stockings and presents.  I must have (once again) been a really good boy because I had a lot of presents from Mommy, Daddy, and Santa!
