I’m pretty sure this will be my last weekend as an only child! Mommy is due next Sunday so I think my little brother or sister will be arriving at some point next weekend (hopefully before Sunday night football when the Packers play, right Daddy?). So right now we’re just waiting for Baby to arrive … we’re resting, playing, and (of course) eating. It’s been pretty great, but I’m excited for Baby #2 to arrive!
Playing with my Tinkertoys… Daddy is very creative, he even made me a chair that rolls!
A little more playing… this time I’m playing “swords” with Daddy!
Eating lots over the weekend! Mommy made a “southern” meal of barbequed ribs, mac n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and watermelon! She also made some chocolate cupcakes for a co-workers birthday that I got to taste test – yummy!
Watching the first Badgers Football game with Daddy just before nap time. I saw Bucky on TV!
And Bruno… well, he is resting up before Baby!
The time is almost here, everyone! Pretty soon you’ll all know if I’m a boy or girl and the name that Mommy and Daddy have decided on! At 38 weeks (officially 39 weeks tomorrow!!), I’m basically considered full-term and weigh close to seven pounds, measuring anywhere from 19 to 21 inches long. At 39 weeks those measurements won’t change much from now on, but my brain is still growing at an astonishing rate (a pace that will continue for the first three years of life). I think Mommy and I are both happy that I won’t pack on a lot of weight and size prior to my big day, as we’re starting to get a little cramped for space. With all my kicks and jabs, Mommy frequently can see a little hand, elbow, or foot move across her belly (sorry, Mommy!), but I plan to stay in just a little bit longer so all my systems are ready to go before D-day!
